2025 NASW-FL Social Work Awards Nominations Open
NASW-FL is accepting nominations for the 2025 Annual Social Work Awards.
The awards honor outstanding professionals and members of the community.
Award Categories:
- Social Worker of the Year
- Social Work Student of the Year
- Social Work Educator of the Year
- Public Citizen of the Year
- Elected Official of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
Awards are considered at the local unit level, and recipients are honored at their unit’s
Social Work Month event in March. Unit winners are then considered at the Chapter level.
Nomination Information Needed:
You will need to provide your contact information and the nominee's contact information. There are three evaluation question to ensure the nominee’s eligibility:
- What makes the nominee stand out as deserving of this award? Highlight any unique qualities, contributions to their community and/or organization, or dedication to advancing the mission of social work.
- Provide an example of a specific achievement or initiative by the nominee that reflects the values of social work, such as promoting social justice, equity, or well-being.
- How has the nominee made a lasting impact on individuals, communities, or the profession? Include any measurable outcomes or notable recognition, if applicable.
The deadline is January 24, 2025.
